Accomodations are plentiful in the Sikeston area.     In addition to great duck and goose hunting, Southeast Missouri has a lot to offer from recreation to historic sites to shopping!

     Visitors to our region will find a good selection of accommodations that include most of the major chains. The area also offers a number of restaurants to choose from. There are eating establishments that serve everything from catfish to barbecue and of course we have a great selection of fast food restaurants. The world renowned Lambert's Famous Throwed Rolls Cafe is located in Sikeston, just off of After a day of successful hunting, area nightlife can prove a relaxing diversionInterstate 55 and a very short distance from Interstate 57.

     Three gambling casinos are within easy driving distance in Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois. The town of New Madrid offers visitors a look back at history with a visit to the New Madrid Earthquake Museum. While you're there, drive up on the Mississippi River levee and stroll out onto the river overlook. If you want to take in a movie, you'll find the latest releases showing at the cinemas in various towns including Sikeston.
     
     Shopping in Southeast Missouri is an enjoyable experience with the Sikeston Factory Outlet Mall and a number of retail stores located in Sikeston and Miner. From Dexter to Cape Girardeau, you'll find a great selection of places to shop whether you're looking for antiques or clothing.

    Sikeston is halfway between Memphis, Tennessee, and St. Louis, Missouri, with transportation available to this area. A commuter service is also available into Cape Girardeau, Missouri, through St. Louis putting you just 35 miles away. The interstate highway system practically runs through Sikeston along with Highways 60 and 61.
